Covered Body Positioning Wedges

Covered "Comma" Style Wedge

Covered Lateral Stablizers for Charis

Nylex covered foam stabilizers help hold the patient in an upright position and helps prevent falling to one side. Designed to slide over the arms of geriatric, home or wheelchairs; attach easily with Velcro straps. Sold as a pair.

"Lap-Pal" Covered Safety Cushion

Foam safety device with Nylex cover acts as an alternative restraint, securing patient simply by fitting across the lap and attaching behind the wheelchair arms.

Limb Positioners / Elevators

Shaped foam pads gently support and elevate arms or legs, or can be used for cushioning casts. An economical choice for reducing edema and encouraging blood flow. Available in either Arm / Leg or Leg only positioner / elevator.

Ulnar Nerve and Heel Pads

Anatomically-designed pads cradle sensitive ulnar nerve and heel areas to protect against skin breakdown or for use in rehabilitative situations.

Foot Drop Stop

Engineered to comfortably support patient's foot and help prevent foot drop in elderly or bedfast patients. Soft foam surface will not irritate skin.

Foot Cradle

Foam cradles firmly, but gently, supports foot for comfortable immobilization. Helps control internal and external rotation of hips and legs. Heel is raised to prevent skin pressure, and large holes provide air circulation.

Covered Leg Elevator Pillow

Foam leg elevator, with Nylex cover, is anatomically designed to accommodate the shape of the leg. Knee is unsupported and the heel "floats" about the pad's surface. End stop helps prevent foot drop. Added straps keep leg in place.

Covered Arm Elevator Pillow

Nylex covered positioner allows comfortable elevation of arm and hand for patient in supine position. Gentle rise at end of pillow curves the hand in correct anatomical position

Abduction Pillow with or without Cover

Abduction pillow with buckle straps hold patient's legs in proper position for healing after hip surgery.

Optional Nylex cover

Wipes clean and is practical for long-term use. It is available In three sizes to accommodate a variety of patient's frame sizes.

Adult Head Positioner and Head Ring

Available either uncovered or with bacteria-resistant Nylex cover. Positioner is recessed to gently mold itself to the head. Foam head ring softly, but effectively, positions the head. Also useful for positioning the ear or the iliac crest.

Covered Neck Support Wedge and Pillow

Nylex covering allows re-use of foam neck wedge and pillow. Both are designed for anatomically correct support of the neck and head. The wedge works to relieve tension in shoulder and trapezius muscles, while the pillow reduces unnecessary side-to-side movement.

Covered Head and Neck Stabilizer

Unique Design combines shoulder stops with contoured head and neck cradle for comfortable support and prevention of unnecessary lateral movement.

Gel Wheelchair Cushions

Provide optimal pressure relief and comfort for all-day sitting. Both cushions work by distributing the patient's body weight evenly. Gives patients an especially stable feeling because the gel is similar to a patient's fat layers. The gel will not leak, even if the cushion is punctured. Durable and easy to clean.

Gel-T Wheelchair Cushions:

Starts with an inner gel-filled pad covered with vinyl. Each time weight is shifted on the cushion, the gel slowly migrates through the special "T" channels to provide even support and maintain capillary blood flow and circulation to the legs.

Gel Cushion with Pommel

Features a foam base with a thick gel top layer for all day sitting comfort. Pommel gently and comfortably keeps the patient from sliding or slipping out of the chair and also separates knees during prolonged seating.

Wheelchair Cushions

Thick, soft cushions provide pressure reduction for wheelchair bound patients. The horned design helps patients from sliding forward, and comes covered with our tan Nylex fabric for reusability.

Wheelchair Wedge-With or Without Cover

Wedged design helps keep patient from sliding forward or out of the wheelchair. The covered version has gold Nylex on top and silver Nylex on the bottom to indicate when patient has been repositioned.

Protective Sleeves for Foam Bed Pads

Opaque white polythene sleeves protect bed pads in case of patient incontinence. Material is flame-retardant and fluid-repellent. Available in two sizes; both are packaged in convenient dispenser boxes.

Convoluted Wheelchair Pad

For patients with impaired mobility, convoluted foam pads add a new dimension of comfort to standard wheelchairs. Sized to fit most wheelchairs or geriatric chairs. Also available with Nylex cover for reusability.

Hexaguard Wheelchair Cushion

Foam pad provides soft support and effective relief for seated patients. Available with either our short or long-term covers as shown. Short-term cover is vapor-permeable, polyurethane film. Long-term cover is made of navy rip-stop material that includes zipper for ease in cleaning.

Hexaguard Foam Overlay

Unique surface design with hexagonal shapes makes this pad our best performer at shear reduction and overall pressure reduction. It's been engineered for effectiveness in cases where convoluted foam or other overlays are not sufficient. Available with our soft, transparent polyurethane cover for short-term use. Or for long-term care situations use our navy rip-stop nylon cover that zips on and off for ease in laundering.

Tiplex and Triplex Plus Foam Overlays

Designed with two unique patterns: convoluted cones at the foot and the head of the mattress and ribs in the center section that run across the entire width of the pad. The ribs are open on each side, improving air circulation and helping in the distribution of the patients weight.

Triplex Plus

Has the same tri-section design with two added features: 1) hexagonal reflex cuts in trochanter area to help prevent hammocking, and 2) higher density of foam for added support. Comes in the color tan and it is standard with vapor permeable, polyurethane film cover.
